About the Position

Job Title

RN – Medical Oncology

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 80 hours per pay period

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with physician orders in a warm and professional manner
• Assess patient condition, administer prescribed medications, and deliver appropriate treatments
• Take and accurately record patient measurements and clinical readings
• Coordinate care planning with other caregivers and departments to ensure continuity of care
• Adhere to universal precautions and comply with all infection control policies
• Provide leadership while working collaboratively with the care team on the unit

Required Qualifications

• BSN or ADN with a current, active Ohio RN License
• CPR certification (must be obtained within 30 days of employment)
• Prior oncology nursing experience
• Ability to read, calculate, prepare, and administer medications and analyze resulting patient reactions
• Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to observe, assess, and guide others
• High attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a medical oncology setting
• Demonstrated ability to communicate moderately complex clinical information to multidisciplinary staff
