Registered Nurse – Neurology (Telemetry)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (6-Month Assignment) | Night Shift | Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Neurology unit with Telemetry monitoring
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for neurological patients
• Monitor telemetry readings and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Rotate every other weekend and every other holiday as required
• Float to an alternate campus location as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact state eligibility
• Experience in a Neurology or Telemetry nursing setting
• Current BLS certification
• Ability to work night shifts, every other weekend, and every other holiday
• Willingness to float to an alternate campus as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Neuro-Telemetry or step-down unit
• NIHSS (NIH Stroke Scale) certification or familiarity
• Experience working in a multi-campus healthcare environment
