Travel RN – Emergency Department (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Full-Time | Onsite | Projected Start: August 25, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 52-bed freestanding emergency department setting with an average patient ratio of 3:1
• Perform IV starts, medication administration, sedation support, and pediatric care using a team nursing model
• Operate Alaris infusion equipment and document accurately within the Meditech EMR system
• Adhere to strict scanning protocols for patient and medication verification on every interaction
• Collaborate with charge nurses, physicians, and midlevel providers across day and night shift pod structures
• Maintain a high standard of patient experience in a fast-paced, high-volume emergency environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Kansas Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, ENPC, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications
• Minimum 2 years of emergency department nursing experience
• Prior travel nursing experience or experience in a large emergency department facility
• Ability to adapt quickly and independently manage a fast-paced emergency environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• TNCC certification
• Experience with Meditech EMR
• Prior experience in a 52-bed or larger emergency department
• Demonstrated commitment to patient experience and satisfaction
