Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Night Shift (19:00–07:30) | 36 or 48 Guaranteed Hours Per Week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to perform assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care for all age groups
• Monitor and coordinate patient care activities with ancillary departments to optimize patient outcomes and comfort
• Maintain professional accountability for provision of care and evaluate the overall effectiveness of care delivered by other direct care givers
• Coordinate patient care in conjunction with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality
• Operate unit equipment including bladder scanner, vein finder, IV pumps, and wound vacs
• Float as needed to a similar or lower acuity unit; work every other weekend as required by the facility

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license — must meet eligibility criteria for licensure in the state of Missouri or currently hold a Missouri RN license
• Minimum 1 year of inpatient Medical Surgical experience
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Proficiency with EPIC EMR
• Flu vaccination (or facility-approved exemption) required November 1 through April 1; declinations are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Experience with telemetry in a Medical Surgical setting
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, fast-paced inpatient environment
