Travel RN – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Full-Time | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit with a 1:5 patient ratio
• Monitor and manage post-surgical patients in alignment with surgeon preferences, established order sets, and protocols
• Perform telemetry monitoring and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Collaborate with an established care team to optimize patient outcomes in a 37-bed unit
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly using the facility's electronic medical records system

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of Indiana
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum of 1–2 years of Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing experience
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility – local candidates are not eligible for this travel assignment
• Valid driver's license with permanent home address required at time of submission
• Must submit copies of all required licenses and certifications with application

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
• Prior travel nursing experience in a surgical or orthopedic setting is a plus
