About the Position

Job Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience License: Active RN License required Certifications: Must have current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications Must-Have: - Experience caring for pediatric patients - Willingness to work every other weekend and every other holiday - Flexibility in scheduling, as blocked schedules cannot be accommodated Description: This position is for an Emergency Room Registered Nurse in a high-volume unit. The unit includes 38 beds, an additional 5 fast track rooms, and an internal waiting room. There are 4 behavioral health swing rooms and 2 trauma/resuscitation rooms available. While it is not a designated trauma facility, the unit handles high acuity cases. Candidates must be comfortable caring for pediatric patients as the unit serves this population. This role requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment. Emergency nursing experience is essential to ensure quality patient care.
