About the Position

The patient ratio is 1:2. There is unit staffing support including unit secretaries and tech availability. Key equipment used includes Baxter pumps. The documentation system is Cerner. Scheduling is self-scheduled based on unit needs, with a requirement of 6 weekend shifts per period. Travelers float first to other ICUs or to step-down units. Advanced skills in caring for neurology patients are preferred. Procedures performed include CRRT, bedside EVDs, and A-line monitoring. The required dress code consists of navy blue uniforms. Unit-specific policies and guidelines will be provided. Prospective candidates should be aware of the unit's commitment to excellence.
