About the Position

Job Title

Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Location

Atlanta, GA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | 36 hours per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency room setting during overnight shifts
• Perform telemetry monitoring and interpret findings to support patient care decisions
• Establish and maintain IV access and manage PICC lines
• Assist with and monitor patients undergoing conscious sedation procedures
• Support lumbar puncture procedures as part of the clinical care team
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (Compact license accepted)
• Minimum of 1 year and 6 months of registered nursing experience
• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Demonstrated experience with conscious sedation
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic health record system

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an emergency room or medical-surgical setting
• Experience assisting with lumbar puncture procedures
• Familiarity with PICC line insertion and management
