About the Position
Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 8 months Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 5 years as a Registered Nurse License: Required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Beginner, BLS, NRP Must-Have: Driver's license must be included with submission. Experience in Labor and Delivery and Mother-Baby required. Availability to work Labor Day and weekend rotations. Description: The Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery will provide care for patients during labor and delivery. This role requires proficiency in charting and time management. Good communication skills with providers are essential. Clinicians may float within the scope to meet facility needs if required. Local candidates are accepted, respecting the local radius rule. Pending state licenses are not accepted. COVID-19 vaccination is required with exceptions for medical or religious reasons. Flu vaccination is also required with exemptions and declinations permitted. Experience in Meditech charting system is preferred. The role supports a patient population of neonates and adults. Interdisciplinary support includes various services like physical therapy and pharmacy. Staffing ratios follow established standards.
