About the Position

Job Title

Travel RN – NICU (Night Shift)

Asheville, NC

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite | Every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 51-bed Level III Neonatal ICU setting
• Manage patient assignments with ratios of 1:1, 1:2, 1:3, or 1:4 depending on acuity
• Utilize Cerner EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
• Perform and assist with procedures typical to a Level III or higher NICU environment
• Float to Pediatrics, PICU, or Mother Baby (babies only) as needed
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge RNs and respiratory therapists on the night shift

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license with eligibility to work in North Carolina
• Minimum of 2 years of Level III or higher NICU experience
• Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced NICU environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• S.T.A.B.L.E. certification preferred
• NIC-RNC (Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing Certification) preferred
• Experience floating to Pediatrics, PICU, or Mother Baby units
