Seven Healthcare is seeking an experienced RN for an Emergency Room/Emergency Department travel assignment in Longview, TX. This role involves providing both routine and complex care in a dynamic ER setting, making independent assessments, and managing long-range goals and plans for patients.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED
•
Meet the expectations of applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders
•
Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
•
Address increasingly complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
•
Administer medications and treatments using appropriate protocols; monitor for side-effects and treatment effectiveness
•
Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided
•
Assess learning needs and provide education to patients, family members, and/or caregivers
Requirements of the RN - ER/ED
•
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred
•
1 year of experience in related nursing specialty preferred
•
Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC certifications required (AHA only)
•
RN License in the state of TX or compact
