Key Responsibilities of the Cardiovascular Progressive Care Registered Nurse

•

Manage epidural and chest tube care

•

Administer tube feedings

•

Perform IV gluccomander and cardiac gtt management

•

Provide patient care to those recovering from complex surgeries such as open heart and vascular procedures

Requirements of the Cardiovascular Progressive Care Registered Nurse

•

Stepdown and telemetry experience

•

ACLS and BLS certifications

•

Prior experience with CV surgery and vascular surgery patient populations preferred
