This role involves working within a dynamic medical-surgical/telemetry environment, providing patient care across various units, each with specific patient types and medical requirements. Key Responsibilities of the RN - MedSurg/Tele

•

Provide comprehensive care to MedSurg/Tele patients across various units

•

Manage patient assignments with varying patient types including cardiac, respiratory, and surgical cases

•

Administer medication and perform procedures such as PIV starts and chest tube management

•

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes

•

Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and manage telemetry technology

Requirements of the RN - MedSurg/Tele

•

BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications

•

Minimum 18 months of Med/Tele RN experience

•

Experience with general Med/Tele skillsets such as stroke care and tracheostomy care
