About the Position

Location: Overland Park, KS Type: Travel Schedule: 3x12 Nights Time: 13 Weeks Job Title: RN - Post Partum - Travel Location: Overland Park, KS Pay: $2,142.72 weekly Shifts: Varies, typically 2 hard to staff shifts (Mon/Fri), and 1 full weekend requirement every 3rd week plus 1 additional weekend Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN for the Post Partum unit in Overland Park, KS. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Post Partum

•

Care for women of childbearing age and newborns

•

Recognize unit workflow and policies within the post partum unit

•

Assess and identify risk factors related to sepsis, VTE/DVT, suicide, malignant hyperthermia, and pressure injuries

•

Provide discharge education and assessment

•

Manage pain, time, and prioritization of patient care needs

•

Utilize AIDET and BSSR procedures

Requirements of the RN - Post Partum

•

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred

•

Current BLS and NRP certifications
