Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

•

Provide high-quality patient care in emergency and trauma situations

•

Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure efficient patient care delivery

•

Administer necessary medications and treatments as per physician orders

•

Monitor and assess patient conditions, providing updates to the medical team

•

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

•

Texas RN licensure or compact license eligible

•

Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications

•

SAMA, CPI, or equivalent (training available with a 30-day grace period)
