Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

•

Perform IV starts, blood draws, and moderate sedations

•

Apply splinting as necessary

•

Collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment

•

Focus on patient experience and delivering quality care

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

•

Current RN License

•

Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

•

Basic Life Support (BLS)

•

Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

•

Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)

•

National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

•

Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification
