This role requires a strong clinical approach, critical-thinking skills, and the ability to adapt to available resources in a dynamic work environment. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Cath Lab - Travel

•

Perform diagnostic cardiac cath lab techniques

•

Conduct interventional cardiac catheterizations

•

Administer and monitor procedural sedation

•

Interpret and manage dysrhythmias

•

Monitor pulmonary artery line and Swan Ganz catheters

•

Assist in left and right heart catheterizations

•

Maintain proficiency through telemetry testing

Requirements of the RN - Cath Lab - Travel

•

NY State License

•

ACLS, BLS, NIHSS certifications

•

2+ years of recent Cath Lab experience

•

Proficiency in procedural sedation, and cardiac catheterization

•

Must pass a telemetry test during orientation

•

Ability to respond within 30 minutes for on-call duties
