Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

•

Handle confidential information with discretion

•

Manage multiple priorities and enhance teamwork through effective role modeling

•

Provide age-specific care to pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient groups

•

Ensure safety, dignity, respect, and well-being of patients

Requirements of the RN - ICU - Intensive Care Unit

•

Current NYS RN Licensure

•

BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS certifications (AHA/RQI certs only)

•

Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association recommended within 2 years of hire

•

TNCC recommended within 2 years of hire
