Key Responsibilities of the Neuromusculoskeletal Med Surg RN

Provide competent care based on established standards under the direction of the Nurse Manager

•

Assume expanded roles such as charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities

•

Deliver quality care through evidence-based practice and professional development

Requirements of the Neuromusculoskeletal Med Surg RN

•

Telemetry Experience Required

•

NYS RN License

•

BLS (American Heart Association only)

•

2 years of Med Surg experience

•

NIHSS certification
