Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Inpatient Rehabilitation – Texas

Location: Arlington, Texas

Schedule: Rotating weekend schedule, 36 hours per week, 13-week assignment
Highlights:

18-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit specializing in neurological, cardiac, and orthopedic patient populations
•
Patient ratio of 5-6:1 with collaborative RN and PCT staffing model
•
Meditech electronic medical record system with real-time training support for rehabilitation-specific documentation
•
No call requirements; floating to medical-surgical units as needed in rotation with unit staff
•
Comprehensive skill development in specialty patient mobilization and rehabilitation nursing techniques
•
Opportunity to perform a full range of procedures including IV therapy, wound care, catheterization, and blood administration
Requirements:
•
Current RN license in Texas
•
BLS certification required
•
Minimum 2 years of experience in inpatient hospital setting (medical-surgical, stepdown critical care, or inpatient rehabilitation preferred)
•
Experience with neurological, cardiac, and/or orthopedic patient populations preferred
•
Acute rehabilitation or long-term acute care (LTACH) nursing experience strongly preferred
•
Strong attention to detail and willingness to participate in coaching and ongoing education
•
Ability to wear required PPE including N95 respirators and face shields
