Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (18:45 - 07:15), every other weekend required with a minimum of 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule. Contract lengths of 13-26 weeks available. No call required.
Highlights:

High-volume birthing center averaging 300+ births per month and 20 births per 24-hour period
•
Fast-paced environment with 30-40 admits daily and approximately 40 patient visits per day
•
2:1 patient ratios with double labor assignments occurring regularly on the unit
•
Comprehensive triage unit for obstetrical screening and outpatient procedures including fetal surveillance and medication administration
•
Epic charting system with 24 hours of paid orientation
•
Scrubs provided; interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and more
Requirements:
•
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required; 3 years strongly preferred
•
Must have documented experience in high-volume birthing centers with 300+ births per month
•
Current BLS, AWHONN Intermediate (or C-EFM), and NRP certifications required
•
Competency in circulating for C-sections, sterile vaginal exams, and immediate newborn care
•
Experience with triage of obstetrical patients and high-risk antepartum care
•
Proficiency in Epic charting system required
•
North Carolina or Compact RN license (pending license accepted for submission)
•
Willingness to float to Special Maternity Care high-risk OB unit as needed
•
Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
