Job Opportunity – Endoscopy RN – Western North Carolina

Schedule: Four 9-hour variable shifts scheduled Monday through Friday, with one overnight weeknight call shift per week and two weekend call shifts per 6-week scheduling period. Call coverage required. Daily start times vary by assignment: Pre-op RNs 0630-1600 or 0700-1630, PACU RNs 0800-1730 or 0830-1800, Procedure RNs 0730-1700.
Highlights:

Work in a dynamic Endoscopy unit with Pre-op, PACU, and Procedure Room rotations at an 815-bed regional referral center
•
Perform a wide variety of procedures including adult and pediatric EGD, colonoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, EUS, ERCP, EBUS, bronchoscopy, and ION navigational bronchoscopy
•
State-of-the-art facility with modern equipment including Olympus scopes, ERBE, Medivator, ION, Boston Scientific, and Cook technology
•
Unit features 8 Pre-op beds, 6 PACU beds, and 4 procedure rooms with 12-16 staff members based on daily case volumes
•
Experience a supportive team environment in a facility recognized nationally for clinical excellence
Requirements:
•
Active Registered Nurse license in North Carolina or Compact State
•
Prior Endoscopy RN experience required
•
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
•
Pediatric Endoscopy experience preferred
•
Pulmonary Endoscopy experience preferred
•
Endoscopy Tech experience a plus
