Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week. Weekend coverage required (4 weekend shifts per 4-week period; for night shift, Friday and Saturday nights only). Float assignments within the health system required. Call coverage required.

Progressive Care Unit serving adult and geriatric patients with general chronic medical conditions and surgical patients

Mixed-acuity stepdown environment with medical, surgical (including acute care surgery), and ortho/trauma overflow patients

Epic charting system experience required
•
13-week assignment with first-time travelers welcome (candidates with only 1 year of experience subject to manager review)
•
30-bed unit with interdisciplinary support including interpretation services
•
Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
Requirements:
•
Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license in hand at time of submission)
•
Minimum 1 year of progressive care or stepdown nursing experience
•
Required Certifications: BLS and ACLS (current)
•
Previous travel experience required
•
Epic charting system experience required
•
Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
•
Clinical skills including: telemetry monitoring, blood product administration, central line and PICC management, BiPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, chest tube management, tracheostomy care, wound care/wound vac, IV insulin and heparin protocols, cardiac and vasoactive drip management (no titration), and interpretation of dysrhythmias
•
Comfortable with floating within the health system (travelers float first when scheduled)
•
2 professional references required: at least 1 from a manager, director, or supervisor; charge RN acceptable for second reference
•
Ability to complete Ohio fingerprinting process urgently upon contract signing
•
Flu vaccination required (medical exemptions only)
