Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel
•
Assist in decompressing the Emergency Department through effective patient management
•
Provide care for adults and geriatrics with diverse conditions such as COPD, pneumonia, CHF, and UTI
•
Utilize telemetry to monitor patient cardiac activity and intervene as necessary
•
Manage medication administration, including cardiac drips and blood products
•
Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel
•
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
•
A minimum of 2 years Med/Tele RN experience
•
Competency in stroke care, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and respiratory therapy
