· Number of Beds – 48 private rooms, 27 hallway stretchers, 9 Fast track, 5 behavioral health
· Number of Staff – 111
· Type of staff:
o Day Shift – Charge +11, additional mid-shifts (9a,11a,1p,3p). 2 PCTs, 1 Paramedic, 1 LVN
o Night Shift – Same as above
· Patient Ratios – 1:4 ED, 1:5 BH, 1:3 cardiac/trauma
· Type of equipment – Alaris pumps, Belmont and Level 1 Rapid infusers, Stryker stretchers
· EMR – MEDITECH
· Permanent Positions on Unit? (Y/N) – Y
Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for: (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters)
Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
· ACLS, BLS, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS
Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first.
· Meditech experience
· Trauma experience
· Holding inpatient experience
· CPI
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
· Splinting, EKGs, central monitoring, trauma assists, central lines, airway support, behavioral health de-escalation, morgan lens, rapid infuser, resuscitation
