Estimated Patient Ratio: 1:2

Unit Staffing: Assignments based on acuity and skills

Client Cardiac Output Monitor
•
Other standard ICU equipment
•
Documentation System: Meditech
•
Scheduling Requirements: Flexible; schedule posted one month in advance
•
Floating Policy: As needed
HOSPITAL SPECIFICS
CERTIFICATIONS:
HIRING PROFILE
MUST HAVE:
•
2 years of ICU experience
PREFERRED / ADVANCED SKILLS:
•
Meditech experience preferred
SPECIALTY / UNIT CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED
•
Temporary licenses will not be accepted
PROCEDURES PERFORMED ON UNIT
•
Dialysis catheter placements
PATIENT EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
•
Surgical patient population
•
Oncology experience especially preferred

RN SCRUB COLOR:
NAIL POLICY:
•
Nails must be clean and healthy
•
No artificial nails, gel, NextGen, etc.
HAIR:
•
Hair must be neat and clean with no extreme styles or colors
•
Beards, mustaches, and sideburns must be clean and neatly trimmed
•
Hair must be pulled back if shoulder-length or longer when working in the lab
TATTOOS:
•
Body art should be covered whenever possible
•
Body art that cannot be covered daily will be addressed individually
PIERCINGS:
•
Visible piercings other than earrings are prohibited
•
Includes nose rings, tongue rings, etc.
