Job Opportunity – Electrophysiology Lab RN – North Carolina
Start Date: October 19, 2026
Location: Wilmington, North Carolina

Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM. Average daily census of 15 cases. Rotating "1st late" and "2nd late" assignments to support end-of-day case completion and patient transitions.
Highlights:
•
Work in a high-acuity Electrophysiology Lab performing complex cardiac procedures including ablations (VT, PVI, CV, A-Flutter, AV Node), ICD/Pacer placement and exchanges, laser lead extractions, and left atrial appendage occlusion (LAAO)
•
Utilize advanced technology including PFA, Cryo, ESI, IVUS, and Cardio Lab systems with Epic (CUPID) documentation
•
30-hour comprehensive orientation program with unit-specific training
•
Opportunity for contract extension through February 27, 2027
•
Scrubs provided; interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, rapid response, and more
•
First-time travelers accepted with appropriate experience and qualifications
Requirements:
•
Active RN license (North Carolina or Compact state)
•
ACLS and BLS certifications required
•
CCI RCES and/or CCI RCIS preferred
•
Minimum 3 years of nursing experience required
•
Proficiency with Epic charting system required
•
Must be comfortable providing conscious sedation during procedures
•
Experience with electrophysiology procedures, cardiac mapping, dysrhythmia management, and procedural sedation administration
•
Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)
•
Willingness to serve on Storm Team/Hurricane Team during catastrophic events or disasters as required
