Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

•

Provide high-quality nursing care to Emergency Room patients

•

Perform conscious sedation and participate in intubations

•

Monitor patients under Behavioral Health Watch

•

Manage sepsis cases and administer TPA for stroke treatment

•

Respond to chest pain and initiate heart alerts

•

Document patient information using the Meditech system

•

Follow floating policies as required

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

•

Active TX RN License (temporary licenses not accepted)

•

Current PALS or ENPC, ACLS, BLS, TNCC, NIHSS certifications

•

Minimum of 2+ years ER experience

•

Preferred CEN and Meditech experience
