Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement. Winter holiday coverage required (work or provide on-call coverage for 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 winter holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's). Patient ratios typically 1:1 or 1:2+. Floating required to all ICUs, PACU ICU holds, ED ICU holds, and Cardiac IMC units within skillset.

Requirements:
•
Active New Jersey or Compact state RN license required at time of submission
•
Minimum 2 years of recent CVICU experience required; SICU experience may be considered if initial training in CVICU was completed
•
Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS (Stroke CEUs)
•
Experience with fresh post-operative cardiac cases including CABG, MVR, AVR, and TAVR required
•
Proficiency with Impella, IABP, and CRRT using PrisMax required
•
Competency in arterial lines, central/PICC lines, starting IVs, titrating cardiac/vasoactive drips, IV insulin protocols, and blood product administration
•
Experience with ventilated patient care, chest tube insertion/removal, BiPAP/CPAP, and ventilator management
•
Knowledge of FloTrac/Vigileo monitoring, temporary pacers, dysrhythmia interpretation, and 12-lead EKG
•
Familiarity with CVVHD/CRRT, CVA/acute stroke management, hypothermia protocol/Arctic Sun, and lumbar drains
•
EPIC experience preferred; first-time travelers and local candidates accepted
•
At least one supervisory reference required at time of submission
