Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Medical/Surgical Oncology – New Jersey

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with every other weekend required; must work or provide on-call coverage for 1 of 2 or 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's); 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio

Floating within skillset may be required to connected campus facilities via pedestrian bridge

Facility may call off 1 shift per 2-week period based on census needs
Requirements:
•
Active New Jersey or Compact State RN license required at time of submission
•
Minimum 1 year of oncology nursing experience with chemotherapy administration
•
Current BLS certification required
•
ONS Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Provider Card required
•
ACLS certification preferred
•
EPIC charting experience required
•
Demonstrated competency in administering and monitoring chemotherapy, managing continuous infusion/IV push administration, handling post-chemotherapy body fluids, and managing cytotoxic spills
•
Experience recognizing and managing oncologic emergencies including anaphylaxis and sepsis
•
Must be separated from this health system for at least 1 year if previously employed
