Key Responsibilities of the Cath Lab/IR RN
•
Perform interventional cardiac catheterizations and radiology procedures
•
Manage cardiac stent placements and diagnostic catheterizations
•
Administer procedural sedation and monitor patients
•
Conduct IV insertions and manage phlebotomy tasks
•
Provide care for patients requiring interventional radiology treatments like biopsies and drain placements
Requirements of the Cath Lab/IR RN
•
ACLS and BLS certifications
•
Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab and IR experience
•
Proficiency in EPIC charting system
•
Competency with phlebotomy and IV placements
