Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Room/Emergency Department for a travel assignment in Santa Fe, NM. This role involves coordinating and implementing patient care specific to the age of the patient population served on the assigned units, ensuring that quality care is provided in an efficient and safe manner, consistent with the unit's standards of care.

Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Emergency Room/Emergency Department
•
Obtain and record initial assessment and establish priorities according to patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs.
•
Re-assess patients systematically to identify progress and trends that require intervention.
•
Develop and implement a measurable individualized plan of care for the patient within the time frame established by Nursing Standards of Care.
•
Make comprehensive nursing decisions based on the interpretation of facts and evaluate patient outcomes; modify the plan of care based upon evaluations.
•
Participate in patient/significant other health education and discharge planning.
•
Implement and document timely interventions appropriate to patient needs.
•
Evaluate the plan of care.
•
Perform various Point of Care testing procedures.
Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
•
Current BLS Certification required
•
Current ACLS Certification required
•
Current PALS Certification required
•
Current TNCC Certification required
•
CPI/De-Escalation Certification preferred
