Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED

•

Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department

•

Interpret cardiac rhythms and monitor patient vital signs

•

Manage medication administration and titration

•

Conduct IV placements and manage NGT and foley catheters

•

Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED

•

Current RN license

•

BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications (TNCC preferred)

•

Minimum 1 year of recent Emergency Department experience

•

Proficient in EPIC EMR system within the last 2 years
