Key Responsibilities of the Emergency Department Registered Nurse
•
Provide care for patients with conditions including stroke, sepsis, trauma, MI, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure
•
Utilize specialty equipment such as Rapid Infuser and Arctic Sun
•
Manage patient care for newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
•
Participate in floating as required and assist with unit operations
•
Maintain charge capability when necessary
Requirements of the Emergency Department Registered Nurse
•
2+ years of Emergency Department experience with pediatric care
•
Travel experience required
•
Current AHA ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications
•
Active NY RN license and all other RN licenses as verified by NURSYS
•
EPIC EMR experience required
