Travel NICU RN Location: Webster, TX Shift Time: Start Time: 07:00 PM End Time: 07:00 AM Shift Type: Night Shift Duration: 13 Weeks Address: 500 Medical Center BLVD Webster TX77598 Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Safe medication administration including calculation of medications Administer medications and EMB using the 5 patient rights Appropriate handling of EMB Care of patients with NG/OG tubes Follow feeding orders and recommendations from OT/ST Care of patients of CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, Nasal Cannula Care for patients with PIV s, PICC s, UAC/UVC Safely care for patients 22 weeks and above Understands use of all equipment in the NICU Promotes safe sleeping at 32-34 gestation Can demonstrate developmentally appropriate care when handling preterm infant Proficient in lab draws Knowledgeable in escalating patient concerns NAS scoring Preferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first. Experience with ETT, Vent s Jet s, Cooling, Surgical patients List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Intubations UAC/UVC placement Eye exams X-Rays Ultrasounds EEG EKG LP s Lab draws PICC placement Circumcisions Bedside surgical procedures Best personality Fit: Team player Open to receiving feedback Contribute to positive unit culture REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: BLS NRP Registered Nurse License Floating Area(s): Mother Baby (will only manage babies) Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - Royal Blue Unit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines. Weekends and On call(if any) Days: 4 weekends Saturday/Sunday Nights: 5 weekends Friday/Saturday/Sunday #ICURN1
