Key Responsibilities of the RN - Stepdown - Travel

•

Provide care to both floor and stepdown patients according to patient and hospital needs

•

Manage a 6:1 patient ratio for med-surg and a 3:1 ratio for stepdown

•

Administer and titrate drips including Heparin, insulin, and anti-hypertensives

•

Collaborate with charge nurses and clinical associates to optimize patient care

•

Utilize EPIC for efficient charting and patient documentation

Requirements of the RN - Stepdown - Travel

•

Active RN license

•

Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA)

•

Experience with EPIC charting system

•

Ability to handle rigorous shift schedules and diverse patient needs
