Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) Medical/Surgical Telemetry – Wisconsin
Start Date: October 26, 2026
Location: Madison, Wisconsin
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour evening/night shifts between 1900-0730, alternating weekends. Will accept 4x12 schedules. Holidays as applicable to operations. Patient ratios: 4:1 days, 5:1 nights and weekends. 24 hours of orientation provided.

Epic EMR system required; strong telemetry and arrhythmia interpretation skills essential

Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, rapid response teams, pharmacy, respiratory services, and more

Opportunity to work with complex and dynamic adult patient populations in both medical and surgical general care and intermediate care (IMC) units

Requirements:
•
Active Wisconsin RN license or compact state RN license
•
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
•
Minimum 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in Med/Surg specialty
•
Previous travel nursing experience required
•
Epic charting system experience required
•
Demonstrated experience working in different Med/Surg units (cardiac, spine, neuro)
•
Basic arrhythmia interpretation experience; must pass telemetry examination prior to start (80% passing score required, 100% accuracy on lethal rhythms)
•
Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
•
Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only)
•
Willingness to float to neuro and oncology units as needed
•
Must reside 50 miles or more from the facility
