This role is within the Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) of a tertiary care hospital, providing critical step-down care to patients from various departments including the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit. Key Responsibilities of the MSDU RN

•

Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias using telemetry

•

Utilization of Rapid Response and Code teams

•

Peripheral line care and IV therapy/phlebotomy

•

Management of respiratory support equipment including BIPAP, CPAP, and oxygen therapy

•

Adherence to isolation precautions and professional care standards

Requirements of the MSDU RN

•

Valid NY license - must be in hand

•

Minimum 1 year of experience in a relevant setting

•

BLS and NIHSS certifications

•

EPIC charting experience
