Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated RN specializing in Progressive Care Unit (PCU) for a travel assignment in High Point, NC. This role involves working in a community-based hospital environment, which boasts a teaching hospital, chest pain center, and stroke center. Key Responsibilities of the RN - PCU
•
Monitor cardiac, respiratory, hemodynamic, and neurologic status of patients
•
Care for post-operative day 2 open heart surgery patients
•
Administer pharmacological titration for cardiac anti-arrhythmic drips
•
Provide respiratory care with medium/high flow oxygen devices or NIPPV
•
Engage in non-invasive ventilator care and post procedure site care
•
Participate in patient care activities and continuous cardiac monitoring
Requirements of the RN - PCU
•
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
•
Experience in cardiac and hemodynamic monitoring
•
Ability to interpret cardiac strips and rhythms
•
Skills in non-invasive ventilator care and vascular line management
•
Proficient in using EMR systems, specifically EPIC
