Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN specializing in Pediatrics Rheumatology for a travel assignment in San Antonio, TX. This role requires providing general nursing care to pediatric patients within a clinical setting. Key Responsibilities of the RN - Pediatrics - Travel
•
Provide nursing care utilizing the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation
•
Address psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families
•
Administer medications and treatments; monitor for side effects and effectiveness
•
Assess and educate patients, families, and caregivers; identify issues and resources
•
Implement patient care and therapeutic procedures; monitor and document progression
•
Evaluate care and treatment provided to the patient and their responses
•
Ensure proper use and maintenance of equipment and supplies
•
Incorporate patient safety practices to promote a safe environment
•
Communicate patient information effectively across the continuum of care
Requirements of the RN - Pediatrics - Travel
•
Graduate of a Registered Nursing program; Bachelor's Degree preferred
•
Completion of Nurse Residency Program
•
6-12 months clinical patient care experience in a relevant setting
•
RN license in good standing in state of TX or a compact state
•
American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification
•
EPIC and insurance authorization experience highly preferred
