Key Responsibilities of the RN - ICU

•

Provide comprehensive care for lower acuity ICU patients

•

Manage ventilators, chest tubes, and tracheostomies

•

Read and interpret cardiac rhythm strips

•

Perform line management and proning

•

Monitor patients bedside and at the nursing station

Requirements of the RN - ICU

•

BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications

•

2-3 years of ICU experience

•

Proficiency with EPIC charting system

•

Ability to float to the cardiac unit
