Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

•

Provide patient care in a 30-bed Cardiac Med-Surg unit

•

Administer cardiac drips such as Cardizem and heparin

•

Utilize GE telemetry and Rover, as well as portable WOWs and Welch-Allen VS machine

•

Document patient information accurately using Meditech

•

Participate in a rotational floating policy with other travel nurses

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

•

Active RN license

•

BLS, ACLS, and EKG/cardiac rhythm identification certifications

•

Experience in med-surg with familiarity in cardiac medications/drips

•

Proficiency in EKG rhythm identification
