Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – North Carolina

Location: Western North Carolina

Schedule: Every other weekend required; scheduling determined by department needs. No floating outside the Emergency Department, but must be available to work in all ED sections.

Patient ratios: typically 4:1 for medical patients, up to 7:1 for behavioral health holds

Requirements:
•
Active RN license in North Carolina
•
Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an Emergency Department setting
•
2 years of experience in a Level II Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, or high-volume ED (100,000+ visits) strongly preferred
•
Required certifications (must be current before start): ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and ENPC
•
CPI certification required before date of hire
•
Strong teamwork mentality with ability to provide real-time coaching and feedback
•
Flexibility to work in all areas of the Emergency Department
•
Commitment to patient experience standards including AIDET protocols and respectful communication
