Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

•

Provide high-quality care to a diverse patient population, including those with respiratory and GI illnesses, sepsis, diabetes, and behavioral health needs

•

Perform specialized tasks such as trach care, chest tube management, and wound care

•

Adapt flexibly to floating requirements across various regional facilities

•

Effectively utilize EMR and medical equipment like Alaris IV pumps and Omnicell systems

•

Collaboratively work with a supportive team including a 24/7 hospitalist and intensivist

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

•

BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications

•

A minimum of 18 months Med/Tele RN experience

•

Strong communication skills and positive bedside manner
