Job Opportunity – Cath Lab Registered Nurse – Alaska

Location: Anchorage, Alaska

Schedule: 4x10 hour shifts, Day shift. On-call required one day per week and every 4th/5th weekend (Friday 1800-Monday 0730). Approximately one Saturday per month as part of scheduled shifts.

May float to Electrophysiology (EP) or Interventional Radiology (IR) within scope of practice
•
Guaranteed 70 hours per two-week period; first-time travelers welcome

Requirements
•
Current Alaska RN license (must be in hand prior to start; pending licenses accepted for submission)
•
Minimum 2 years of Cath Lab nursing experience required
•
BLS and ACLS certifications required
•
Epic EMR experience required
•
Strong competency in diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures
•
Experience with percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), cardiac stent placement, IABP management, and procedural sedation monitoring
•
Proficiency with hemodynamic monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, emergency medications, and specialized cardiac equipment
•
Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
•
Two professional references covering one year of experience within the last three years

Additional Information
This is a 13-week travel assignment with the possibility of extension. Time off requests are approved on an individual basis upon offer, with only one time-off request permitted per 13-week assignment. Candidates must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day). All scheduling requests must be submitted upfront during the application process.
