Job Opportunity – Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse – Pennsylvania

Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Schedule: Full-time position with on-call requirements including 1 weekday per week and every 7-8 weekends. Daily census of approximately 25 patients across 4 rooms with 8 bed capacity. 24-hour orientation provided. No floating required.
Highlights:
•
Advanced neuro interventional radiology experience required with focus on LVO-Thrombectomy procedures
•
Comprehensive special procedures including embolization, UFE, paracentesis, thoracentesis, G-tube/nephrostomy tube placements, lung/liver/kidney biopsies, TIPS, Y-90s, IVC filters, and dialysis access
•
Epic charting system utilized for all documentation
•
Level I Trauma Center experience providing critical care interventions
•
First-time travelers accepted with 2 years of relevant experience
•
No time off on Thanksgiving or Christmas; pre-approved time off available
Requirements:
•
Active Pennsylvania RN license (or compact license) required at time of submission
•
Minimum 2 years of Interventional Radiology nursing experience required
•
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC
•
Level I Trauma Center experience required
•
Neuro IR experience with demonstrated proficiency in thrombectomy procedures
•
Epic EMR experience required
•
Charge experience preferred with 1:1 patient ratio capability
•
Valid references and certification documentation required
•
Flu vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions only); COVID-19 vaccination not required
•
Completion of Pennsylvania fingerprinting and childline clearance required
•
Pass clinical competency exam (3 attempts maximum)
