Job Opportunity – Operating Room RN – Northern New York

Location: Watertown, New York

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 13-week assignment. Weekend, holiday, and call coverage required. On-call response time of 30 minutes.

Requirements:
•
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
•
Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
•
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
•
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred
•
Preceptorship, charge nurse, and leadership experience preferred for experienced RNs
•
Thorough knowledge of nursing principles and ability to provide quality patient care
•
Ability to assess patient clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual needs
•
Knowledge of clinical equipment and instrumentation in OR/ASU settings
•
Lethal dysrhythmia interpretation skills
•
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
•
Ability to function effectively in high-stress situations
•
Must reside outside a 100-mile radius of the facility
