Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – New England Region
Start Date: October 20, 2026
Location: Rural New Hampshire (2 hours from major metropolitan area)
Compensation: Competitive rates provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Full-time travel assignment, every other weekend rotation, no on-call requirements
Highlights:

Long-term care/skilled nursing environment with comprehensive resident oversight responsibilities

Supervise and collaborate with LNAs in medication administration, treatment delivery, and care coordination

Utilize computerized documentation systems including electronic MARs/TARs

Participate in physician rounds and facilitate communication during 60-day resident reviews

Rural setting requiring personal transportation; limited public transit available

13-week assignment with potential for extension
Requirements:
•
Active New Hampshire RN license (or ability to obtain prior to start)
•
BLS certification (American Heart Association) required
•
IV certification required or willingness to obtain during onboarding
•
Minimum 3+ years of recent RN experience (within the last 6 months) required
•
Previous travel nursing experience highly preferred
•
Rural or small facility experience highly preferred
•
COVID-19 vaccination required (exemptions not accepted)
•
Willingness to float to other units where experienced
•
Must reside more than 50 miles from facility location
•
Reliable personal transportation required
Position Responsibilities:
•
Conduct continuous resident assessments and monitoring, reporting significant changes to supervisory staff
•
Transcribe and execute physician orders accurately and in a timely manner
•
Administer medications and treatments via computerized documentation systems
•
Supervise licensed nursing assistants in accordance with state Board of Nursing regulations
•
Perform specialized nursing procedures including wound care, oxygen administration, and gastrostomy/jejunostomy feedings
•
Manage admissions, discharges, and transfers with complete documentation
•
Maintain communication with residents' families regarding care updates and concerns
•
Oversee infection control practices and ensure unit safety standards
•
Participate in staff orientation, education, and performance evaluation processes
