Key Responsibilities of the OR RN
•
Deliver quality patient care and assess patient's needs, including clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual aspects
•
Recognize safety issues and implement the use of lifts for patient movement
•
Function effectively in stressful situations with strong problem-solving skills
•
Demonstrate leadership skills with the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks
•
Assume charge nurse duties as required
•
Interpret lethal dysrhythmias accurately
•
Utilize clinical equipment instrumentation to maintain a safe and aseptic environment
Requirements of the OR RN
•
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
•
Preceptorship, charge, and leadership abilities preferred for experienced RNs
•
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills
•
On call required with a response time of 30 minutes
