Key Responsibilities of the Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

•

Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department

•

Assess patient's health status and implement appropriate care plans

•

Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure efficient patient care

•

Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Meditech

•

Facilitate patient admission and transfer as needed

Requirements of the Registered Nurse - Emergency Department

•

Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses not accepted)

•

Minimum 2 years of ED experience

•

BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS certifications required
